We greet you, Your Excellency, and all gathered here, in this festive season. Our purpose is to celebrate the heavenly gift of peace that is so dear to our beloved Jerusalem. On Sunday, November 21st / December 4th 2011, the Feast of the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple, His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos after celebrating at the Holy Monastic Church of Saint Constantine and Helen inaugurated the new larger room of Epitropikon (meeting room), where every day the Holy Fathers have breakfast in the morning. The feast of the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple was festively celebrated at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
In the morning of the day of the feast, Sunday November 21st / December 4th 2011, His Holy Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos celebrated at the Holy Monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, opening the Christmas season with katavasiae ”Christ is born, give glory!” (More…)

We are glad to welcome you to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the senior Church institution of the Holy Land, and the Mother of All the Churches.
